Font Research

After researching the concept for our Digipack CD artwork I felt it was just as important to start thinking about the types of fonts that would should use. Most Rock Digipacks feature bold texts that gain the audiences attention and this is something we need to consider when planning our Digipack. We also want our font to look appealing to audiences as well as representing some of the key conventions within the Rock genre. We went onto www.dafont.com and came up with a list of fonts that we could potentially use. As a group we decided to chose the a named 'Plane-crash' which is the font at the bottom of the potential fonts, we decided to use this font as we believed it represented the rock genre the most due to the scratching effect as well as it being big, bold and clear.
