Music Video Decision
After doing some research into videos associated with the genre of
Rock and after a discussing our ideas as a group about what is realistically possible, we have decided that we would like our music video to be recorded in a
studio as it allows us capture both the performance and personal side of the band. We would like the band to perform to the cameras as if they are
performing to an audience through the camera, however, no such audience
is present. This is used in many other popular music videos such as, 'Green Day - American Idiot', and 'Foo Fighters - Pretender'. For our narrative we would like a sound girl to be
on set observing the band perform and as the performance progresses she
will begin to give off flirtatious signals towards James the lead singer
and this connection between each other during the video will progress so that they
audience can observe this and relate to it, however at the end of the video we believe that he should seem to be going along with it but then he walks straight past her to his genuine girlfriend to create the sense of a 'Secret Sin'.
